Interested in joining the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer (FSO)?
U.S. Embassy Riyadh will be hosting the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) on Tuesday, October 4 and Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Test Registration opens August 24, 2016 and closes September 28, 2016.
Eligibility Requirements:
- All applicants must be U.S. citizens on the date they submit their registration package.
- On the day you submit your registration, you must be at least 20 years old and no older than 59 years of age.
- On the day you are appointed as a Foreign Service Officer, you must be at least 21 years old, and not yet 60.
- You must also be available for worldwide assignments, including Washington, D.C.
The Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) is an important part of the FSO selection process, covering the job knowledge, English expression and biographic information necessary to work as a Foreign Service Officer.
