Statement by United States Ambassador in Riyadh John Abizaid on Eid al-Fitr
On behalf of the United States Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I would like to extend our warmest wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia, as you celebrate Eid-al-Fitr.
Mrs. Abizaid and I are honored to celebrate with you and enjoy the generous hospitality of our Saudi friends and partners. The blessings of this joyous time highlight so many of the wonderful characteristics and values that define the Saudi people and that we have come to cherish in our time here. We wish you a very heartfelt Eid Mubarak!
