The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced today that travelers from eleven previously restricted countries, including the United States, will be allowed to travel directly to Saudi Arabia, if they follow existing entry requirements. The countries are: the United States, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Travelers will need to follow applicable quarantine measures. This updated travel policy will be implemented starting Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM local time.
