Message for U.S. Citizens: Travel Direct from the United States and Other Select Countries Resumes

The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced today that travelers from eleven previously restricted countries, including the United States, will be allowed to travel directly to Saudi Arabia, if they follow existing entry requirements.  The countries are: the United States, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.  Travelers will need to follow applicable quarantine measures.  More information on quarantine requirements in Saudi Arabia can be found here: COVID-19 Information | U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Saudi Arabia (usembassy.gov).  This updated travel policy will be implemented starting Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM local time.
