Mail your Ballot for the 2020 Election

The U.S. general election is on November 3.  While absentee ballots can be mailed to the United States, many states also accept online registration and votes via email.  To learn more about state-specific overseas voting guidelines, registration deadlines, and election dates, please visit FVAP.gov.

If you are mailing your ballot home, we recommend that you do so by October 12 to ensure timely delivery.  The Embassy and Consulates General can help you mail your vote home!  See below for hours and drop-off locations – no appointment is necessary.  Please maintain social distancing, wear a mask, and stay home if you are sick.  Make sure that your voting materials are in a sealed envelope addressed to your election office.  Please include U.S. postage, or print off a pre-paid postage envelope from fvap.gov/eo/overview/materials/forms.
