Health Alert: Updated Global Travel Advisory
Message for U.S. Citizens – August 7, 2020
Location: Saudi Arabia
Event: In coordination with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s removal of their Global COVID-19 Pandemic Notice (Avoid Non-Essential Travel), the Department of State has removed its Global Level 4 Travel Advisory (Do Not Travel). A country-specific Level 4 Travel Advisory (Do Not Travel) remains in place for Saudi Arabia. Updated travel advisories are available for each country on the Department’s website.
Actions to Take:
• Register in STEP and encourage other Americans to do so. • Follow the U.S. Mission’s ACS Twitter account.
• Cooperate with public policies designed to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
• Stay abreast of local news and information concerning travel restrictions.
