Training Opportunity: Apply today for the Women Entrepreneurship Workshop – WEW

The U.S. Consulate General Dhahran will select 30 women from the Eastern Province for a scholarship to attend the WEW – Women Entrepreneurship Workshop, a 9-week training program to give Eastern Province women a chance to develop their business idea into a concrete plan for starting their own businesses. Participants will receive personalized coaching and business plan development guidance to prepare them to launch their own businesses. The training workshop will be delivered by experts at the iSAW foundation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate. The series runs November 15, 2021, though March 28, 2022. Workshops will be held every two weeks on Monday evenings, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

The classes will be conducted in English and will focus on how to build business opportunities through creative thinking, innovation and proven techniques. Courses are taught by international and Saudi business experts, bridging local context with global experiences and insights.

Who?

Women in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, who are already an entrepreneur or have aspirations to become an entrepreneur.

What?

30 women will be awarded a fully paid scholarship from the US Consulate General, Dhahran to attend the iSAW workshops.

When?

Applications are due November 5, 2021.  Training will be nine virtual sessions, November 15, 2021-March 28, 2022. Workshops are held every two weeks on Monday evenings, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Workshop attendees will receive:

  • Completion Certificate from the US Consulate General, Dhahran and iSAW international Smart Advancing Women Foundation.
  • Top students will be awarded the prestigious iSAW Challenge Coin and Certificate.
  • Participants will receive a one-year free membership to the iSAW LIFT Platform, benefiting from all iSAW Services.
  • iSAW will provide an Entrepreneurship Habitat within the iSAW LIFT platform for attendees to stay engaged, connected, and obtain ongoing support.
